Agyness Deyn.

One of my faves in the fashion/modelling world edgy beauty Agyness Deyn is back. After a short while having a break from the modelling industry she is back and better than ever. Deyn was featured in this months Vogue looking rather STUNNING. This woman can literally do no wrong with her stunning natural beauty. The shoot is very 60's bad girl with floral prints, big hair, lots of liner, bold lips, YSL playsuits and plenty of colour. Not that I dont like the boyish casual look that she normally goes for but she looks awesome in this editorial with slightly longer styled hair and a bit of lippy...

Freeze Please.

No matter how many times I say 'I cant wait for summer!' or 'I need to get a tan,' I do eventually need to come to terms with the fact that I wont be going anywhere near a climate above 5 degrees any time soon.  Retailers may be now launching their spring lines but that does not mean the cold is going to be leaving. Winter may be, for me anyway, deathly pale dry skin, numb toes and what seems a constant god damn runny nose, and it hasn't even snowed yet. Grr. As I write this im actually wrapped up in bed with the radiator blasting, but is that such a bad thing. Who says that snuggling up in bed is so terrible? Sorry to those of you who are out at work and cannot enjoy such a pleasure, I am however a student and will probably be spending the next three years of my life in bed, until it comes the time when I have to enter the big bad world and get a real job and I in fact move back in with my parents. But back on to the silver lining thing, winter isn't all that bad. There are many things this season comes hand in hand with, would be rude not too. Pyjamas, Big Fluffy socks, scrummy hot food, Christmas! Hats & scarves, baths, suede Dr Martens just look at them...

Just suede in general really, and velvet, burgundy velvet yum, furrrr, the red cups at Starbucks, baggy tee's, oversized knitwear, bold prints, hot showers after running from the rain, hunters on the beach, full length skirts, bright jeans and bright lipstick. Summer couldn't come quicker but as it isn't here just yet, and to be honest we have a couple of months before it does may as well make the most out of it and don some of these beauties...

Blonde!!!!

Ive finally taken the plunge and done what everybody has been expecting me to for the past year and gone back to blonde. I was originally blonde for about 5 years, dying it since I was 15. I haven't gone quite as blonde as i was previously as that was pretty platinum! This is just a softer, very ashy blonde that I like very much indeed. Whether i ever go back to platinum/white I don't know, I kinda hope not! Its funny because know that im blonde again everyone is saying how much better it is, love how they tell me that now! Here are some pics...

I got the colour by whacking some bleach all over it for about an hour, then after some rest (the next day) I applied a packet 'pearl blonde' over the top. I really love it actually and am very glad I got bored that rainy day!

Also ITS CHRISTMAS!!! Im currently getting ready to go out and hit the pub, its a big thing going out in my town on Christmas eve, everyone goes out so its a really nice chance to see everyone and wish them a Happy Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful day too! And get everything from Santa that you asked for! Is anyone else going out too? Let me know...!

Happy Birthday to mee!

So the 15th of last week was my Birthday, my 21st. New York was a birthday present from my mum so thats mainly what i did for it. but my amazing flatmates Sophie @BABYGOTHGIRL and Lauren planned a night out for me in Kingston. So of course i had to get an amazing dress! 6 hours it took us to find the one. 6 hours. We started in Topshop, then onto Urban Outfiters, then to Zara, Miss Selfridge, New Look and River Island to no avail. Finally ending back at Topshop. With 15minutes untill the store closed all three of us piled into the changing rooms with mounds of dresses. Low and behold the last four were the best and I was torn between them. I actually ended up buying two, both a beautiful deep red colour. One short, simple and velvet. The other short at the front with the recently popular elongated back and a deep v-neck back and front...

The Girls also decorated the flat for me...

I had the best night! Thankyou girlies!

New York, New York.

First off big apologies for my lack of posts in the past couple of weeks! Its been rather hectic, week before last I spent six days in New York and last week it was my birthday! More on that later!
New York...where to start. Amazing, however extremely hectic. It was mainly a touristy holiday for my birthday with my mum and my younger sister, we did things like Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Brooklin and New Jersey. Photos...
To start off here's the view from the top of the Empire State, we went up twice actually because the first time we didn't really think about it and went up at night. It was so foggy we could hardly see anything! But it was very cool to see the city covered in this strange thick fog.

Hair Mask.

My hairs been feeling a little neglected this winter with the mad colour removing session last week, the cold weather and also probably the fact that I havent had a good hair cut in a longggg time! - bad I know but im a poor student :(. Ill get one when I go home for xmas.
So anyways, I went out to boots to get a hair mask that looks heavy duty, and I found this...

Its amazing, and only 99p! As soon as you put it on you know its going to be good, its thick and smells awesome. It even sofened up my hands. After an hour of it getting to work my hair is shiny and soft for New York tomorrow. And more importantly I can get a brush through it, hurrah.

Definitely try this if your hairs feeling a bit sad this winter.

Sorry that this post is rather behind but ive had quite a busy week and haven't really had a chance to update you all on my hair situation. So...I took the colour out of it and it ended up rather ginger and you've seen. But to be honest I rather liked it. I colour removed again the next day, slightly worriedly may I add as the whole hair ending up as straw was hanging in the back of my mind, but hey, what's the worst that could happen. After another hour of attempting to destroy/beautify my hair after all removed (the solution and the colour hopefully) the result was actually rather a babe! More of a darker red/ginge but I actually LOVED it. Got plenty of comments and found my new hair colour was a bit of a revelation. Decided to keep it like this for as long as possible as it was beautiful and I felt my hair had been through enough trauma for the moment. The final step would be to put a new lighter colour on it. I chose Nice and Easy dark blonde with ash tones. After around a week the new colour on my hair was still all good but it felt unfinished and however much I loved the colour my roots remained a slightly lighter tone and so as it wasn't a die that I originally used I had no colour to go over with so the last die was to be applied. Here is a picture of my red hair...

The picture isn't great colour-wise but its the only one i took, sorrry! So my FINAL hour of sitting around with toxic hair is now finally over and I swear im never dying my hair again. My hair better be how I want it when I wash this off! After a quick blow dry without looking in the mirror whilst its wet as I always scare myself silly when its wet because it never looks the same when its dry. Im pretty happy with it. Its not exactly      
dark blonde but its lighter. Thank god. Im not really sure where the ash tones have disappeared to because the red tones certainly haven't gone anywhere but as ive found I don't really dislike redness. Perhaps after a few washes it will be closer to the colour that it was before I died it. Overall i just want my hair to be lighter which means I can grow it out and see what my natural colour is as I dont really know what that is! Then i can start this whole charade all over again! Ha. Heres the FINAL result...Hope you like it!
